On the BAUMA 2019 we introduced the world's most modern Paver Laying machine PaveJet S19 also with pure electric drive - Optimas PaveJet S19E.

Our engineers and consulting experts chose a system with a quick-change battery. This drive system ensures continuous operation with full load. Depending on driving style, engine power called up, outside temperatures etc. the battery life is approx. 3-4 hours.

The user now has two options for charging the battery. One is with the internal 3kW charger (approx. 5 hours charging time) or with the external 9 kW charger (approx. 1.5 hours charging time).

If these charging times are too long for the job site procedure, we recommend a second battery. Here the advantage of the exchangeable quick-change battery system comes into play. If a battery is empty, the empty battery is replaced by a full battery within a few minutes. Because of the short charging times with the external charger, continuous work is guaranteed.
